Billy Leen has been a creative stone artist actively since 1988, providing joy and inspirational pieces of stone art, memorials and headstones in Co. Kerry and around Ireland. His focus and inspiration is driven by his love for people and nature. His love for his family and art is transparent in his connection with clients and his work.
Billy enjoys the company of people and he believes in an open door policy at his beautiful workshop filled with amazing art pieces around the property, where a cup of tea is always shared.

We are a family run business specializing in creating unique hand carved, personal and one off stone memorials and sculptures. We have been serving our clients for the past 20 years in Kerry and beyond. We have also worked with several local authorities on public sculpture projects, including Kerry County Council.
At Artistic Memorials and Sculpture we are aware of how difficult the whole process of erecting a memorial can be. It is our aim to turn this process into a healing experience for you. The final stone creation will be something you can be proud of because each stone is designed to suit the bereaved individual in a very special and intimate process, involving you, your family and our team.

There is no catalogue of stones to pick off the shelf like other memorial companies because just like your loved one our stones are Unique. They have personality and the make a statement that the person remembered was special too.We create Headstones, Memorial, Sculptures and glass art using ancient techniques but crafted with love, care and deep consideration for your needs. Each stone is carefully sourced. It is then hand crafted to your precise specifications. We are among the very small minority of memorial creators in Ireland that can carve the stones using the traditional hand carving methods of our ancient Celtic ancestors.
We endeavor to create a memorial that is sensitive to our customer's needs that will not be seen anywhere else or be used by any other family. The final piece is not just a memorial it is a Work of Art, it has meaning and it is our philosophy that it should be.
Looking to our ancient past, our ancestors the Celts believed in creating a permanent memorial of the life of a person. They saw immense importance in being remembered well in death with a beautiful stone that was lovingly crafted to stand the test of time. They erected 'markers in time' that gives a form of eternity to the name of their loved ones. These memorials were something very special, something spiritual.
